How our puzzle subscription works

Every month, we create a brand-new logic puzzle and mail it to your doorstep. Our goal is to make every puzzle unique, interesting, and beautiful. Every month is a different puzzle that has a different theme, and we vary the themes and mechanics of the puzzles each month - no two puzzles are the same. Our goal is to make a fun, high-quality brain teaser that you can look forward to getting in your mailbox. Every puzzle we make is 100% hand-crafted: we have no interest in having AI create the puzzles on our behalf.

Each puzzle takes 20 - 60 minutes to complete, depending on both the difficulty and the puzzler. We print a QR code on each puzzle that lets you verify your answers.

Club ethos

We believe in creating more reasons to look away from screens, engage your brain, and interact with the people around you. We also believe in the simple joy of getting a fun puzzle in the mail. Puzzles are as old as civilization; they inspire us to look more carefully at the world around us and examine problems from different angles. We hope each puzzle brightens your day and can be something you look forward to each month.

Membership is $8 per month. You can cancel anytime from the support page; we believe cancelling should be just as easy as joining.

FAQ

When will I get the puzzle?

Snail Mail Stumper Club is a monthly puzzle subscription. We mail new puzzles at the start of every month. Delivery times vary depending on your location, but you can generally expect to receive each puzzle by the 15th of each month. When you subscribe to the Club, we'll also mail you the latest puzzle.

What kind of puzzles does the Club create?

Each puzzle is a one-page printed puzzle. Answers are solved with a pencil and verified with a QR code. This is not a jigsaw puzzle or a puzzle you solve with physically moving parts.

We create different kinds of puzzles every month. We try to create never-before-seen puzzles, or unique twists on existing kinds of puzzles. We take inspiration from the classics like sudoku, crosswords, word search, and nonogram. Each puzzle generally takes 20-60 minutes to complete, depending on the puzzler and puzzle. The puzzles are designed for adults.

Can I give a membership as a gift?

Yes! Our logic puzzle subscription makes a great gift for your friends, family, and loved ones. You'll just need to enter the recipient's address as the mailing address when checking out.

Where does the club ship to?

We ship worldwide - anywhere USPS delivers.

What do I need to solve the puzzles?

All you need is a pencil or pen!

What happens if I get stuck?

All of our puzzles are deterministic and do not require guessing. The best way to solve a puzzle is with other people; we recommend working with your friends and family if you're stuck! You can always reach out to support@snailmailstumper.club if you have any questions.

What if my puzzle gets lost in the mail?

Email us if your logic puzzle never arrives - we'll happily re-send it to you.

Is the cost all-inclusive?

The $8 subscription includes taxes and shipping - you don't need to worry about any of that.
